Policies

You can book services at any time of the day or night with as little as two (2) hours notice. A four (4) hour minimum of duration applies to all reservations. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Once we receive and review your reservation request, a complete profile of the sitter we know will be most suited for your family via email. The profile includes their name, biography, and a photo. This process gives your family an opportunity to get to know your sitter before her arrival and also ensures your safety since you’ll know exactly who will be knocking at your door.

For recurring services, parents are able to request a free twenty(20) minute virtual  call with sitter/nanny candidates. In these twenty (20) minutes, the clients are able to ask any questions they may have and get to know the sitter/nanny better prior to arrival.

At the time of booking confirmation, the service minimum is charged to your credit card.  (AMEX, VISA, MasterCard or Discover ONLY). All services rendered thereafter are billed to every quarter of the hour and charged at the conclusion of the service session.

Clients are responsible for providing parking to the sitters/nannies. In addition to providing parking, Clients must pay ALL parking/valet fees. Sitters are not authorized to drive around to search for parking.

We will follow-up with your family after your initial service session to ensure your satisfaction via email.

Health and Safety guidelines permit a maximum of three (3) children per babysitter depending on age group.

Refunds will be granted only to those cancellations made within 24-hours of your reservation start time. NO EXCEPTIONS

CANCELATIONS

Reservation cancelations or modifications need to be arranged via phone call directly with our administrative team. Sitters will not honor any modification or cancellation to reservations. Cancellations must occur prior twenty-four (24) hours before scheduled booking time. 

Clients, under no circumstances, are able to reach out to sitters seeking private child care. If the client would like to contract the sitter independently, they may reach out to the company and pay the placement fee of two thousand and five hundred dollars ($2,500). If clients are seen contracting sitters without The Babysitting Boutique’s knowledge, they will be held responsible for paying the placement fee on top of any legal fees.
